Dr. Venki Padmanabhan
Dr. Venki Padmanabhan practices as a Plant Manager at ADS and is also a Venture Advisor at Maniv. A mechanical engineer by trade, he defended his doctoral thesis at the University of Pittsburgh, at the intersection of Engineering Management/Industrial Engineering/Artificial Intelligence/Diagnostic Expert Systems.
Dr. Padmanabhan cut his teeth as a production supervisor at GM’s 100 year old Buick City Assembly Plant. He was then on the ground floor as a production shift leader at GM’s first Lean Greenfield in a unionized location at the Lansing Grand Assembly Plant. Later he was responsible for Chrysler’s Lean Academy and head of Industrial Engineering for all Car Plants in the US that led to work across a variety of plants at Mercedes in Stuttgart and across Germany. He was instrumental in setting up Chrysler in India as he built the South East Asia Sourcing Office along with the engineering organization. During a decade operating in India he served as COO/CEO of Royal Enfield, MD/CEO of English India Clays, CEO Cyient DLM and COO Ather. He returned to the US as VP/GM/Plant Manager at SMP, then REHAU, Tier 1 suppliers that fed the Mercedes Assembly Plant in Vance, Alabama.
He chose his “Walden Pond” two year assignment to return to the shop floor to serve 300 operators and supervisors in the trim shop night shift at GM’s Lansing Delta Assembly plant as they launched 3 new products and an additional shift to build a-vehicle-a-minute. Forged in empathy and adversity, an understanding emerged that appeared to untie the Gordian knot that binds Capital and Labor. Eukaluptos was conceived to advise companies that desire to reset this relationship for good.

Dr. Sridhar Ramamoorti
Dr. Sridhar Ramamoorti, ACA, CPA/CITP/CFF/CGMA, CIA, CFE, CFSA, CGAP, CGFM, CRMA, CRP, MAFF, is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Dayton, OH. To remain engaged with practice issues, he is affiliated as a principal with two productivity advisory firms, the Behavioral Forensics Group LLC, which provides fraud risk mitigation, detection, and investigation services, and GRC Metrix LLC, which provides internal audit, risk advisory, compliance, and governance productivity advisory services. Previously, he was an Associate Professor of Accounting and a Director of the Corporate Governance Center, Michael J. Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. His research interests span corporate governance, risk management, external and internal auditing, internal control, and forensic accounting. He is currently a Faculty Research Fellow with Financial Executives International (FEI).
Dr. Ramamoorti has a unique, blended academic-practitioner background with over 35 years of experience in academia, auditing, and productivity advisory. After finishing his Ph.D. from Ohio State University, he initially served on the accountancy faculty of the University of Illinois. Subsequently, he progressed successively as a principal with Andersen’s Professional Standards Group, National SOX Advisor for EY, and corporate governance partner with Grant Thornton, all in Chicago, IL. He briefly led the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) professional services practice of Infogix, Inc. in Naperville, IL, prior to re-entering academia.

Our name reflects our mission. The name “Eucalyptus,” meaning “well-concealed” in Greek, was inspired by the protective cap (the operculum) that covers the sensitive male stamens until they are ready to burst forth into beautiful, tassel-like flowers. Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta) sheds ribbons of bark in hues of blue, purple, orange, maroon, and green.
